KUNDALINI FAILS TO UPEND FRIENDS
DOES MANAGE TO CAPTURE KEY DEMOGRAPHIC

December 3, 2001: Kundalini Komedy Sells Out (tickets still available) — Despite optimistic predictions by the producer, the pilot of Kundalni Komedy: The Sitcom failed entirely to overtake perennial favorite Friends in the Neilsens this past week. The NBC sitcom attracted nearly 25 million viewers for their Thursday, November 29 8:00pm airing, while Kundalni, for that same period, had an audience of 35.

However, according to an independent report, Kundalini did beat out Friends nearly 20 to 1 in the key demographic of "people who were in the audience of Kundalni Komedy Sells Out
on the night of November 29."

"Friends
got a meager 25 market share for Thursday, which means that of everyone that had a TV on, a mere 25% were watching the show," said Producer Jonathan Van Gieson, "I'm pleased to announce we were the clear leader in our market, with a share of 96. That means more than 96% of all the people in our audience were watching the show — without a doubt, a runaway victory."

The sold-out Friday night repeat of Kundalni did manage to capture more viewers than the season premiere of the WB's Sabrina, The Teenage Witch;
42 people.

This week, Kundalini Komedy: The Sitcom will be subjected to the standard second-episode retooling when a new character, "Laura," joins the cast for Episode 2. "It's sort of like when they added 7 of 9 to Star Trek: Voyager
," enthused Director Matt Kalman, "She's young, blonde, attractive, and part Borg." Analysts predict that the addition of Laura will increase the number of breasts on the show by 50% or more.

Set your VCRs now, because the following week comes The Kristmas Special, an episode you'll want to add to your video classics library alongside such masterpieces as Nestor, The Long-Eared Christmas Donkey and Inspector Gadget Saves Christmas
.

If the sitcom were listed in TV Guide, the second episode's listing would read; "Episode 2: Attack of the Hormones: A new member joins the group, which spells trouble for the guys! (TV-14)". The third would read; "Episode 3: The Kristmas Special: In this very special episode, the cast learns the true meaning of Chanukah. (TV-14)".
